The Fall Gala will be a celebration PeacePlayers 20th Anniversary, with a spotlight on the future and the ambitious trail we are blazing through PeacePlayers Global Initiatives and our Network Expansion. The evening will include unique interactive experiences, the opportunity to bid on unique sports experiences, and a program that combines top entertainment with stories of impact from our participants. We are excited to share the room with key partners in our work, including Nike, Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, and The NBA Foundation.
About Us
PeacePlayers is using the sport of basketball to create a global youth movement for peace and equity.
Launched in 2002 by Sean and Brendan Tuohey, the organization has grown into a leader in the field of Sport for Development through it's focus on developing fully locally led programs that address some of the most divisive conflicts in the world.
Today we celebrate 20 years of proving that youth who can play together can learn to live together, and we are just getting started.
The next decade will include monumental growth for the organization alongside the most significant investments ever to be made in our young leaders, alumni and the expansion of our global network.
